Overview

Location: Liverpool, NY     Department: Administrative      Reports To: Human Resources Manager

 

Your Role: Works closely with the Administration Manager, as it would relate to both Dot and DTI admin functions, payroll, employee relations and other administrative responsibilities as needed.

 

  • Assists Warehouse and Driver Trainers with Safety Shoe and Shirt/Jacket Program.
  • Orders and Tracks Office Supply Inventory for Office, Warehouse and DTI.
  • Assists DTI Managers with compliance of 391 Driver Files.
  • Assists with all payroll functions.
  • Enters and tracks all training into the GPS Website.
  • Supports corporate Safety Programs
  • Workforce/Payroll reports to managers weekly.
  • Assists with all Wellness Incentive initiatives at the DC.
  • Transaction Survey calls to customers daily
  • Inventory counting/tracking/ordering for warehouse and first aid supplies.
  • Assists in the planning and coordination of all company events.
  • Cross Trains and provides back up to all Human Resource Administrative team members.
  • Answers and Routes incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Greets and assists visitors and job applicants; screen and/or announce to appropriate manager.

Role Specifics:

  • Part-time
  • Monday-Friday: 1pm-5pm; Hours subject to change with business needs.
  • Must be flexible to work as business dictates.
  • Special projects as requested by DC management personnel.
  • Support DC General Manager with Special Projects.

Qualifications

We Need You To Have:

  • High School degree required.
  • Must be able to tolerate sitting for extended periods of time and perform keyboard functions (typing, data entry) for extended periods of time.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism
  • Excel, Word, Outlook, Access experience necessary.
  • Typing skills (40wpm).

 

We’d Like You To Have:

  • Previous HR experience preferred.
  • Able to work directly with employees for questions or concerns regarding Human Resources functions.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
