Overview

Location: St. Louis, Mt. Sterling, or within the Territory (Eastern US) 

Department: Sales/Business Development – Dot Customized Services 

Reports To: Director – Dot Customized Services

 

Your Role: The CSAM will call on Dot’s suppliers to acquire new and increase current business within our Sample Express and Customized Services’ programs.  This person is responsible for selling the features/benefits of our program as a supply chain solution for suppliers & brokers. Additionally, this person is responsible for selling the many components of DCS including packaging, assembly, and fulfillment opportunities.

  • Understands and analyzes our supplier’s current business methods and identifies their business needs to create and influence their actions on Dot’s Customized Services’ tailored sample and fulfillment solutions.
  • Calls upon and presents to numerous departments (Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Accounting) at existing Dot suppliers, in all channels/categories.
  • Works closely with internal teams to uncover opportunities with current suppliers and effectively implements and launches solution programs for our suppliers.
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

 

Role Specifics:

  • Travel – Overnight travel required (6-8 nights per month). Ability to travel without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train to attend meetings or trainings.

Qualifications

We Need You To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable Dot experience
  • Minimum of 2 years’ industry or related experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to go on lengthy day trips, possibly several per month
