    Location: Mt. Sterling, IL      Department: Equipment Maintenance      Reports To: Machine Maintenance Supv


    Your Role: This position will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems as well as troubleshoot PLC programs associated with automated systems and all material handling equipment.


    • Make required repairs, adjustments, and installations to all automated systems and material handling equipment.
    • Perform preventative maintenance inspections, cleaning, repairs, adjustments and lubrication on all automated systems and material handling equipment, on time without disrupting production.
    • Utilize computerized maintenance management software to check inventory and location of parts and maintenance history of equipment.
    • Applies lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste.


    Role Specifics:

    • Full Time, Nights, Wednesday - Friday and every other Saturday 5:00 pm – 5:00 am
    • Work in -5 to 95 degrees for extended timeframes
    • Extensive standing/walking on concrete floors
    • Subject to being on-call or mandatory overtime
    • Working at heights


    We Need You To Have:

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Good physical condition, sufficient vision and hearing necessary to perform duties safely
    • Must have own tools
    • Mechanical, hydraulic & electrical experience

    We’d Like You To Have:

    • Three or more years of industrial maintenance experience
    • Forklift maintenance experience
    • Associate’s degree, electrician’s certificate or military equivalent
    • Experience with material handling automation
    • Direct PLC (Allen Bradley) experience
    • Safety training and/or certification
