    Job Title: Warehouse Sanitation

    Department/Sub-Department: Warehouse

    Location: Williamsport, MD

    Schedule: Days

     

    Supervision:

     

    a. Reports to Shift Manager.

    b. Executes under direction or established procedures 25% of the time.

    c. Works independently setting priorites 75% of the time.

    d. Supervises-No one

     

    Primary Purpose:

     

    Maintain a safe, clean and sanitary work environment to company standards with hand brooms, mops, etc. Remove all refuse to authorized trash pickup area. Ensure trash cans are empty and clean. Clean break rooms, conference rooms, rest rooms and office areas. Stocking kitchen supplies in break and conference rooms areas daily. Assure that the highest degree of sanitation and housekeeping is maintained. Report any safety or mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.

     

    Essential Duties:

     

    a. General housekeeping in break areas

    b. Rest room cleaning

    c. Empty trash, recylce paper

    d. Conference room cleaning/stocking

    e. Help maintain storage areas for cleaning equipment and supplies

    f. Wipe racks and deep clean warehouse

     

    Occasional Work Conditions:

     

    a. Front planter area clean up

    b. Office/Parking area clean up

    c. Cigarette butt can clean up

    d. Employee entranceway cleaning

     

    Safety Responsibility:

     

    Assumes responsibility for the workplace safety of self and co-workers, and for the safety conditions of the work location.

    Qualifications

    Requirements:

     

    a. High school diploma/GED required

    b. Team Player

    c. Detail oriented

    d. Ability to clean allotted task in timely manner

    e. Responsible use of all chemicals and equipment used to perform tasks
