    Location: Liverpool, NY       Department: Dot Transportation, Inc (DTI)      Reports To: Operations Management Trainee

     

    Your Role: This position is responsible for controlling, inspecting, recording and tracking inbound and outbound customer and vendor truck traffic.

    1. Coordinate dock flow for both shipping and receiving shifts
    2. Choose, release, and stage loads for picking
    3. Investigate shortages of product in the picking process
    4. Compare accuracy of supplier bills
    5. Enter load information into system as trailers arrive/depart
    6. Verify accurate data of all personnel entering/leaving premises
    7. Choose and stage loads to be received
    8. Print and distribute receiving paperwork as needed
    9. Finalize shipping and receiving paperwork
    10. Verify and Record inbound and outbound arrival/departure traffic / visitor information.
    11. Contact effected department for entrance authorization and instructions.
    12. Inspect and Record inbound and outbound vehicle data
    13. Prepare product OS&D documentation.
    14. Process Company Driver check-in and check-out paperwork.
    15. Computer data entry as required-including AS400, TMW, DC Yard Management, and Microsoft Applications.
    16. Inspect inbound and outbound vehicles

    Role Specifics:

    1. Make damage adjustments
    2. Answer driver questions with regards to delivery receipts and load status
    3. Operate office equipment
    4. Assist with supplier product tracking in the areas of damage, discrepancies, identification, and shelf life.
    5. Communicate with outside carriers and escort them through the building
    6. Assist Dispatch with after office hours driver support (People-net, Total Mail)
    7. Scan company delivery receipts.
    8. Spreadsheet Tracking

    Qualifications

    We Need You To Have:

    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Capability to prioritize and process simultaneous demands on a routine basis
    • Good organizational skills
    • Basic Computer Skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
