    Location: Mt. Sterling, Illinois                            Reports To: Hagel 1891 General Manager / Chef


    Your Role:

    • Responsible for deep cleaning the front of the house floors and hallways
    • Maintain organization and deep cleaning of the bathrooms
    • Stock the truck deliveries in the storage room in an accurate manner
    • Keep the storage room organized
    • Provide other efficient ways to keep the restaurant neat and organized

    Role Specifics:

    • Schedule: Part-time, may vary up to 12-16 hours per week; days and times may vary
    • Work conditions: Standing for long periods of time, and occasional lifting of product up to 50 pounds­


    We Need You To Have:

    • Must be 16 years of age or older.
    • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
    • Fundamental understanding of sanitation, cleanliness, and personal hygiene.

    Hagel 1891 is a one-of-a-kind restaurant, nestled in the heart of Uptown Mt. Sterling, Illinois. Hagel resides in a building that was originally constructed by the Hagel brothers in 1891. Recently restored and updated in 2014, the facility provides guests with a comfortable, yet unique banquet space to host meetings, parties, rehearsal dinners and receptions.
