Maryland Warehouse Lead Person- Days
Shift: Days 3 x 12, Saturday, Sunday, Monday
Pay Range: $21.00-24.00 plus Shift Differential
Reports to the: Warehouse Shift Manager
Executes work under direction or established procedures 80% of the time.
Works independently setting priorities and personal work schedule 20% of the time.
Supervises: Warehouse Team
Primary Purpose (All leads): General responsibility for coordinating and supervising their team with the daily warehousing functions. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, the lead person’s responsibilities will be to monitor and control the warehousing and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives.
Essential Duties: (All Leads)
Work with the inventory department to ensure the integrity of the inventory.
Direct the operations of the warehouse team to achieve prescribed objectives.
Develop and maintain a productive work team by helping to create programs for training and professional development.
Match the skill and background of personnel to the work required
Apply sound communication and motivational communication
Is a positive and constructive member of the team by being able to offer insight and ideas to improve work environment and production?
Occasional Work Performed: (All Leads)
Be available for staff meetings, educational seminars, and training.
Adverse Working Conditions (All Leads)
Must be able to work overtime and weekends
Must be able to work in hot and cold environments (refrigerator 40 degrees, freezer -10 degrees).

High school or GED and previous warehouse experience is a must.
Must have the ability to lift cases up to 60 lb., and to lift 25-50 LB cases frequently.
Obtain pallet jack, narrow aisle license and forklift certification
