    Location: Vidalia, GA             Department: GA Warehouse        Reports To: Warehouse Shift Manager

     

    Your Role: To provide hands-on leadership on the warehouse floor by training, monitoring, and evaluating assigned personnel and actively lead the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product in a manner consistent with company culture, service, and cost objectives.

     

    • Conducts training with assigned personnel to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all material handling equipment and warehouse management systems.
    • Supervises and coordinates unloading and orderly slotting of inbound shipments and picking, staging, and loading of outbound shipments.
    • Communicates, coordinates and supports all policies and procedures within the warehouse and company.
    • Conducts performance reviews and implements/manages development plans for supervised staff.
    • Communicates work expectations and results achieved to assigned personnel.
    • Fulfill customer orders, load and unload product to and from semi-trailer, strategic product movement within the warehouse, and other duties as assigned
    • Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.

     

    Role Specifics:

    • Supervision - Warehouse Lead Staff, and Warehouse Floor Personnel
    • Schedule - TBD
    • Travel – Approximately 2 times per year to company meetings and trainings. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

     

    Qualifications

    We Need You To Have:

    • High School Diploma or general equivalent degree.
    • Previous warehouse leadership experience.
    • Proven successful leadership experience including communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

     

    We’d Like You To Have:

    • Four-year college degree.
    • Proficient in trained warehouse activities.
    • Ability to perform well in a team environment across all temperatures and departments.
