  • Overview

    Location: Bear, DE     Department: Administration     Reports To: Human Resources Manager

     

    Your Role: Provide HR support for all departments at the distribution center (DC), including recruiting, benefits, payroll, and new employee orientation.

     

    • Posts, advertises, and recruits for open positions in all areas of the DC and then tracks applicant through applicant tracking system
    • Performs candidate screening and behavioral interviews as part of the hiring process
    • Helps to lead benefits elections with new and current employees, assisting employees with those election decisions
    • Leads New Employee Orientation presentations and training and various other meetings
    • Assists in the planning and execution of various events for employees and potential candidates at the DC
    • Accurately tracks various HR information, including but not limited to, personnel, safety, benefits, and payroll
    • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

    Qualifications

    We Need You To Have:

    • High school diploma or general equivalency degree
    • Trustworthiness to handle sensitive, confidential information
    • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees and other departments
    • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Outlook

    We’d Like You To Have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources
    • Customer service skills to serve employees in an appropriate manner
    • Previous knowledge or experience in Human Resources
    • Pervious presentation experience
