Location: Mt. Sterling, IL or St. Louis, MO or Remote                             Department: B2B Integration & Master Data

Reports To: Director of B2B Integration & Master Data

 

Your Role:  You will be hands on and responsible for the configuration and management of our PIM (Product Information Management) application, utilized by various departments at Dot. You will manage product backlog for our PIM system and optimize the value of the work the software development teams perform. Success will be evident in story conversion to user experience, highest-value delivery of functional and technical specifications, and the reduction of post-delivery incidents.

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes, roadmaps and features to enable PIM to support ecommerce, master data & pricing functions. Translate roadmaps and features into user stories and prioritize backlog.
  • Track investment, budget, and capacity and makes recommendations based on business value opportunities
  • Lead activities related to agile software development methodologies, including sprint planning, scrums, backlog grooming, and defect management
  • Identify opportunities to leverage the PIM application to improve business processes, data governance and support efficiency efforts cross-functionally across the business
  • Manage user acceptance criteria, validation processes, and user/system documentation
  • Analyze requirements for system functions in collaboration with multiple departments
  • Participate in application updates to include upgrades, patches, and new releases and regression testing.
  • Serve as project manager working closely with support vendors to solve system issues and develop new solutions
  • Understand the application, supporting infrastructure, and systems integration
  • Configure application and provide application troubleshooting, monitoring and problem resolution
  • Provide support and training to end users
  • Keep current with new technologies and solutions by attending technical training, seminars, or workshops
  • Apply lean tools and thinking to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position

Role Specifics:

  • Travel – Occasional overnight travel to internal and industry events. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

Qualifications

We Need You To Have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Dot Experience
  • Experience in leading PIM system implementations & the development of item related data models
  • Advanced understanding of business processes, standards and practices around product data.
  • Strong business analysis, project management, and communication skills
  • Experience in Agile development environments, capturing and managing business requirements from variable functions/teams and data-driven decision making

We’d Like You To Have:

  • Experience administrating and/or configuring EnterWorks Enable (PIM) v10
  • Experience with requirement/test/project management solutions, preferably JIRA
