Location: Mt. Sterling, IL      Department: Warehouse      Reports To: Packaging and Assembly Lead


Your Role:This position is primarily responsible for constructing kits & shippers by re-packing or apportioning full cases of product into smaller quantities as required by the supplier, while ensuring the food safety and quality of the product.


  • Load/unload product from trailers manually or with pallet jack equipment.
  • Calibrate thermometers and measure product temperature.
  • General housekeeping of work area
  • Potential interaction with the Food Safety and Inspection Service
  • Maintain adequate packaging supplies


Role Specifics:

  • Schedule: Monday –  Saturday. 6:30am - 5:00pm  Minimum 20 hours a week.  Flexibility on days to work.
  • Extensive standing/walking on concrete
  • Work in temperatures that range from 0 to 80 degrees
  • Wear personal protective equipment such as steel toe shoes, gloves, goggles, hairnets, and smocks


We Need You To Have:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to pass standard physical abilities test to meet the physical demands of job
  • A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas of the position

We’d Like You To Have:

  • Experience in handling pressure and working with customers
  • Experience in an environment that promotes sanitation, cleanliness and personal hygiene
  • Computer experience
