Working with a professional Chef
Prepare food for Hagel 1891 customers according to the exact specification of the Executive Chef, establishment, and customer.
Work with other line cooks in the kitchen to prepare all food according to specifications, and in a timely fashion to meet customer needs
Ensure that all stations are cleaned at the end of a shift, including, but not limited to disposing of leftovers or garbage, cleaning utensils, pots, pans and cooking surfaces
Help develop standard work and work instructions for other cooks, as well as to streamline all processes within the kitchen
Supervises kitchen staff when executive chef is not on site
Schedule includes evenings, and weekends
Work conditions: Standing for long periods of time, and occasional lifting of product up to 50 pounds
Hot and noisy environment, with areas of odors, moisture, steam, and refrigeration
An Illinois State Food Handler card will be required
