Location: Liverpool, NY     Department: Equipment Maintenance      Reports To: Maintenance Manager

 

Your Role: This position is responsible for preventive maintenance, as well as troubleshooting, analyzing, and repair of material handling equipment (lift trucks, wrappers, and other electrical or mechanical equipment).

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues on all material handling equipment, including wrappers and battery changing equipment. Ensure repairs are completed in a timely manner.
  • Maintain daily communication with warehouse operations staff and other technicians to ensure equipment needs are met and do not disrupt production.
  • Ensure all material handling equipment is maintained and repaired in an accurate manner in order to protect the safety and well-being of all employees utilizing it
  • Utilize computerized maintenance management software Maintscape to check inventory and location of parts and maintenance history of equipment.
  • Organize, plan, and execute project installations or repairs involving mechanical or electrical systems.
  • Battery changing, watering and maintenance.

Role Specifics:

  • Schedule: Sunday – Thursday 8:30am-5pm
  • Extensive standing/walking on concrete floors.
  • Working at heights.
  • Subject to mandatory overtime.
  • A dedication to eliminating waste in all areas.

  • Ensure all material handling equipment is maintained and repaired in an accurate manner in order to protect the safety and well-being of all employees utilizing it
  • Document labor and materials used for repairs, communicate inventory needs and usage.
  • Utilization of technical manuals and reading schematic diagrams.
  • Utilization of multimeters, electronic test equipment, hand tools, drills, grinders, and presses.

Job Title: Housekeeping (part time)

Schedule: 2 days a week (weekends)/6 Hours per day after initial training period, with some flexibility.

Supervision:

· Reports to Maintenance supervisor.

· Works under close supervision 10% of the time.

· Works independently, setting priorities and work schedule 90% of the time.

· Does not supervise others.

Primary Purpose:
Performs general janitorial and housekeeping responsibilities for facility.

Essential Duties:

· Cleaning and restocking of rest rooms.

· Dusting.

Occasional Work Performed:

Your Role: This position monitors and maintains all ammonia refrigeration and fire protection equipment, including alarms. This person will work directly with Safety and other management teams to develop/ maintain company process safety management and risk management guidelines.

  • Monitor and maintain the glycol and electrical under floor heating systems
  • Monitor electrical usage of the refrigeration system to maximize savings.
  • Manages Process Safety Management for the Bullhead City, AZ facility.
  • Does a daily, monthly, and yearly inspection on the equipment.
  • Works with Safety and management to develop Emergency Shutdown and Evacuation procedures for employees to be educated on.
  • Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.

Role Specifics:

    • Travel – Occasional overnight travel to other company facilities or outside facilities for training. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.
    • Schedule – Ability to work flexible hours (weekend, late hours and on-call) based upon facility needs.
  • Environment – Indoor and outdoor work; exposure to chemicals. Work in situations where human error could result in serious financial loss or personal injury.
