Your Role: The Helpdesk Coordinator supports internal customers company-wide in the areas of computers, printers, connectivity to the network and client software. You coordinate with other IT teams to resolve issues.

  • Set up and troubleshoot PC and printer hardware, connectivity to networks including wireless, VPN, dial up and DSL
  • Route calls to the IT area responsible for users department
  • Enter tickets and work orders in Help Desk by collecting pertinent information from end user
  • Monitor tickets and work orders assigned to Help Desk team
  • Provide support to standard client software installed at Dot
  • Reset passwords for all systems
  • Conduct periodic customer satisfaction audit
  • Set up user accounts requested through HR Department

 

Role Specifics:

  • Travel – Occasional overnight travel. 1-2 nights per month; ability to travel without restriction via car, plane or train to meet the responsibilities of the job
  • Schedule – Full-time; M-F 8:00AM - 5:00PM

Your Role: The Dot Expressway is a B2B ecommerce site that connects thousands of food industry buyers and manufacturers each day. In teaming with the business and development staff, the Ecommerce Development Lead will deliver solutions to improve functionality and the user experience across digital channels. This will require collaboration with departments across the business including ecommerce, digital marketing, master data, sales, customer service, business development and brand marketing. Success includes quality solutions that are delivered on time and on budget.

 

  • Work with business stakeholders to understand business processes and eliciting, defining, and analyzing requirements
  • Create deliverables according to the Software Development Lifecycle such as functional and technical specifications, use cases, test cases, and system documentation
  • Accountability for project scope, budget and dates
  • Participate in or lead activities related to agile, including meetings, sprint planning, and backlog grooming
  • Identify opportunities to leverage purchased applications to improve business processes, and support business re-engineering efforts

  • Travel – Occasional overnight travel. Ability to independently travel as needed, without restriction, by all modes of transportation, including car, plane or train for industry meetings or conferences.

Your Role: The Network Administrator is responsible for long and short-term network (LAN/WAN) planning, design, and optimization. In teaming with the business, you develop strategies and direction for network systems solutions using current and emerging technologies. You translate business requirements into network or process designs and plans and recommend network hardware, systems management software and architecture to ensure compliance. The Network Administrator, may take on the role of Project Leader for special enterprise-wise assignments.

  • Monitor network performance/tuning, ensure capacity planning is performed and are proactive in assessing and making recommendations for improvement and evaluates new server-based upgrades
  • Install, configure and maintain routers, switches, and hubs for the network systems (wireless and VoIP)
  • Develop and maintain documentation regarding network configurations, operating procedures, and service records relating to network hardware and software
  • Monitor network links for LAN/WAN and assist in training staff in implementations, maintenance and support of LAN/WAN

Your Role: The Client/Server Technical Analyst implements, administers and maintains systems at Dot Foods. These systems include servers, operating systems, and backup and recovery programs. You, also, troubleshoot and resolve system problems and service requests. You provide high-level technical support for unresolved help desk issues.

  • Mentor Helpdesk personnel on issue analysis and resolution
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop checklists for typical problems
  • Install and maintain servers and server operating systems and documents server infrastructure changes
  • Report on system performance, utilization, compliance while writing and maintaining detail systems documentation
  • Monitor server backup and recovers jobs
  • Translate user and/or systems requirements into functional technical specifications
  • Maintain and troubleshoot network
